Subject: Why losing your job to AI is a good thing.

Last week I was in Montana with BMW – and let me tell you, it was an experience. I got to dive right into the whole cowboy ranch life, which was completely new to me. The vibe there was pretty amazing – super hands-on and raw. It was a complete change of pace, but in the best way.

And here’s the funny thing: that experience in Montana is almost the complete opposite of something I’ve been really vibing with lately – AI.

I’ve always been an early adopter when it comes to new tools, and I’m all in on AI. I know this might sound a bit like a capitalist pitch, but hear me out: if AI ends up taking over certain jobs completely, that’s actually a good thing.

Here’s why: the more people get freed from repetitive, tedious tasks, the more they can focus on being creative, pushing their industries forward, and working on bigger things. AI opens up capacity for innovation and bigger ideas.

But here’s where it gets interesting for companies: with AI, tasks have to be redefined. Time suddenly plays a completely different role. Tasks that used to take days now take minutes. This means businesses have to adapt to this shift and rethink their processes.

For service providers, it’s about time we stop selling hours and start selling the value of our work – just like we’ve been doing at BDX for a while now.

For example, one project I’m especially proud of is the American Express Business Stories. Season 2 is ready and the first episode just went live.
