Hello,

New York has always fascinated me. As a kid, I was obsessed with the Big Apple and wanted to see the city that supposedly never sleeps with my own eyes.
The reason wasn’t the Statue of Liberty, the skyscrapers, or anything like that. It was Bruce Willis and Die Hard with a Vengeance.
Ever since I watched that movie for the first time, I was hooked. And since my first visit, I know this for sure: the buzz and the vibe are exactly as electric as I imagined.
Which is why I’m beyond hyped to make an announcement. Maybe the biggest one in BDX history.

And NYC is the main character. But I’m not dropping it just like that in this newsletter. Sorry 😂

🎙️ BMW BRAND INSIGHTS – UNFILTERED
🍸 After-show with drinks and a DJ
Joining me are two people I owe a lot to: Tim Sumter and Albi Pagenstert from BMW North America.

Over the past years, BMW has taken me along for incredible experiences. Almost all the truly standout projects were with BMW – from Monterey Car Week and Art Basel to closing down the Las Vegas Strip and the Ryder Cup.
Throughout that time, BMW wasn’t just a client. They were a true partner. We grew with those projects and learned a ton.
That same spirit shows up in BMW’s branding. They know how to reach millions as a love brand – and keep reinventing along the way.
That’s exactly what we’ll get into at the event with Tim and Albi: premium positioning, rejuvenation, competitive pressure – and what brands can learn from it. Unfiltered insights and concrete takeaways.

And if you know someone who absolutely needs to be there, send them the link. The best events are the ones with the best people in the room.
What else has been happening?

Last week was all about TRENDCON – our own marketing conference in Leipzig.
And because so many people asked for more insights, the keynotes will be up soon on the New Trend Society YouTube channel. Stay tuned.
Oh, and a podcast tip to close: The new NTS episode with Moritz Lindner from Reisetopia is live. He shares how to fly business class almost for free, how luxury travel is evolving, and what’s really behind the hotel status game.
See you next week – and maybe already in Manhattan.
See you next Friday ✌️
