Hello,

I’ve been spending a lot of time in the cockpit lately. And no, not metaphorically – I’m actually learning to fly.

What does this have to do with business? A lot, but before we get to that, let me share something personal.

Flying has always been one of my greatest passions. Whether it’s flying business or taking on crazy adventures, there’s something about being in the air that gives me a whole new perspective on life and business.

The peace and focus you get up there – it’s like a reset button for my brain. The best ideas come to me when I’m cruising above the clouds, and I use that time to rethink things, come up with new angles, and get clear on what’s next.

One of the craziest experiences of my life was crossing the Atlantic in a propeller plane. No joke, that was a whole different kind of feeling.

Now, let’s talk about how all this connects to business. Flying is all about control and letting go at the same time. It forces you to be present, spot mistakes immediately, and take responsibility – not just for yourself, but for everyone on board.

And here’s the key: risk plays a huge part in all of this. Once you’ve been in the air, your perspective on risk changes. The more you fly, the more comfortable you get with the unknown. The same goes for business.

If you’re currently wondering whether you should take the leap, maybe all you need to do is accelerate. Action breeds clarity. Growth happens when you take risks, but you need to embrace the unknown and move forward with confidence.

Here’s the thing: In both flying and business, you can’t wait for perfect conditions to make a move. Sometimes you just have to take off.

So, whatever you’re working on, don’t let fear of the unknown hold you back. Lean into the challenge, take action, and trust the process. The sky’s the limit.
