Hallo zusammen,
Sometimes work feels like a movie.
This week, that’s exactly how it felt.
New York City – a place that’s fascinated me ever since I first watched Die Hard with a Vengeance as a teenager.
That skyline, that energy, that vibe – seeing it in real life just hits different.
Over the past few years, I’ve been back and forth quite a bit. It’s halfway between Europe and LA, and every time I thought: I’d actually love to spend more time here.
And now it’s official:
My creative agency BDX MEDIA is expanding to New York City in 2026.

We made the announcement during Advertising Week with our very own release event:
A live podcast of our New Trend Society format featuring Albi Pagenstert and Tim Sumter from BMW – two absolute heavyweights in brand marketing.
And of course, we staged it the BDX way: like a big football transfer – complete with a Red Bull New York jersey, a contract signing, and sunrise photos on the Brooklyn Bridge.

The evening? Packed with energy, inspiration, and people who share the same fire.
Surprisingly many Germans, too. Honestly, it felt like a home game.

Today, I just feel proud.
Not of myself, but of the team in Germany and Los Angeles that gives their all every single day. Without that backbone, none of this would be possible.
Next week I’ll be back with fresh marketing insights.
But today, I simply want to say:
Thank you for being part of this journey.
